2. Is the lock on your SD card locked?
3. Is the .CFG file locked? _________________ Jock

I'm exiting correctly and the cards not locked. Where's the .cfg file and how do I know if its locked? |

I've just noticed that the recent destinations list is empty as well. |

You'll need to check this from your PC. Right click and check the file properties. If it is "Read-only", change it. You may have to copy the file to your PC, change it & copy it back.

Arrggggg!! its happened again with todays update.
Right, at least I know how to sort it out, but what the hell am I doing wrong? I downloaded the zip file, extracted all files to a directory. Copied the contents of the directory to the pda Great Britain directory - Do you want to replace etc. etc. - yes to all - Bloody bells and whistles again.
Must be something obvious. |

When you have the warnings set up as you want them, copy the cfg File in the Map Folder, to somewhere safe on the Device.
The if it happens again just copy the Backed Up File to the Map Folder.
You will then, of course, have lost any other settings you might have made in the meantime. _________________ Richard

Thanks Oldboy, but its not the cfg problem (now sorted); its downloading and overwriting the new camera data files. it seems that when I copy the new files (ov2 and bitmap)somehow the ogg files get corrupted and I have to delete and reload them as well. |

You don't need to copy the bmp files again.
Try making the ogg files Read-Only. This would stop them being 'corrupted'. _________________ Richard
