Hi all, I have made a new folder called miotransfer and extracted the transferhack files into it....then got the mutt file from the mio updater file in my program files and added that. Now I get a miotransfer page on my pc with mp3`s and photos etc , so where do I go from here please. On connecting the mio by usb nothing happens. I havent got it on the miomap page.

Couls someone please clarify please.

Thanks all....Dilwyn

Thank you MaFt for the inspiration Laughing
I havent just come down with the last snow shower and yes I have read all that , unzipped the file to a new folder and then added the mutt file....doesnt really tell you any more than that does it? Have also put it into the search bar and drew a blank, hence my request for further info. I appreciate that there are many gifted and knowledgeable people on here , but I`m afraid at my age things of this nature takes a bit longer but pointed in the right direction I can sometimes work things out and I would obviously have had to read all that to get the file in the first place. Without being patronising of course.

I suppose I can always stick to Bluetooth Laughing

Hi, no I dont, I connect the mio C510E to the pc using the usb cable and turn it on , all I get is the main menu, as in the photo / settings /mp3 etc page.
Also on connecting get a popup....found new hardware / not recognised.

So I assume that this could be the problem.

Thanks for the reply by the way.

Regards...Dil

Dil,
Are you still running the same shortcut / link?
You should be starting the program "Mio Transfer Hack.exe", NOT "Mio Transfer.exe"

It sounds that you are failing already in the USB connection. Did your original Mio Transfer program work properly? If you get a "hardware not recognised" it sounds that your USB driver is missing. Perhaps you should try to reinstall the original program, with drivers and all. To my expericence the Transfer hack works as good (or bad) as the original program, so make sure the original works and then "upgrade" to the hack.
