Help with hp6195 & tomtom software

Hi guys, I have just bought a new HP 6915ipaq which has the pre loaded tomtom 5 software and allows a city map download free. However I have my own full version of tomtom 5 with the western europe maps. When I try and load this software or the maps I get a big nasty error message and the set up shuts down. Where am I going wrong? How can I get it to work with the internal gprs stuff?
