|
|
Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to move favorites from one map version to another, and if so how?
I'm running Nav5.210(5430) and have just upgraded from GB-plus maps v571 to western europe maps v660 and would like to be able to copy my favorites over.
Any help much appreciated |

in the old map folder you will find a cfg file. Make a copy, put that into the new map folder, and rename it according to the name of the new map. _________________ Lutz

Is it not done the same way as with the PNDs?

Having just done exactly this. I can confirm that you do indeed copy the old .cfg file and rename exactly as the .cfg file you are about to replace. Note that the case is important and that some of the similarly named files in the map folder are in differing cases. |

far easier to create poi category as your favourites and any favourites to the poi category. that way when tt crashes, which it will. you don't loose your favourites. and you can simply copy and paste it on to your map. _________________ Palm Vx (remember them)
