Didn't my reply HERE provide any ideas on what the problem might be?

Thanks for the replys, but it still seems to me that there is a problem with your site down loads when it comes to apple macs.I have read most of the questions and answers and there dosent seem to have been a solution. I have a home pc and this last year have had no problems opening your zip files. but my mac laptop no which way will open the zip file ,after reading other mac user probelms with your zip files. it still points to the data base problem.I do hope I am proved wrong and the problem can be resolve without keep being refered back to old posts,,, |

Darren and MikeB both us Mac's with no problem so I can't see it as a problem with the site.
A search on the forum DOES yield results and is better than repeating yourself many times...

I know from the POI page that you need to open THAT file by dropping it into Stuffit rather than opening the file directly - have you tried that with the speed cams file?

Not sure if its related but I made a posting regarding the zip file format. I use 7-zip since its free and does everything that WinZip does.
However, it has issues unzipping the camera database. If I try to extract the file it just creates another copy of the zip file. Its really wierd and Ive never seen any zip file do this before and Ive used 7-zip for several years now.
I asked a technical question as to how the zip files are created but go no response.
Perhaps its not a standard "zip" file?
