|
|
In using my i3 during long distances, I noticed that when I search for anything, whether it's an address or other location, it gives the distance point-to-point, or "as the bird flys".
I'd rather know how many actual miles to my location. Is there a way to make the i3 do this? I mean, when you "review turns" it shows the actual mileage per turn - why can't it just add all those numbers up?
Also, is there a way to mark a location when I get there so that I don't have to enter it again? I know how you can do this with a locatin that you looked up, but I'm talking about if I end up somewhere without GPS and want to use that location in the future.
Thanks in advance

First Question - No
Second Question - Yes. Hold down the scroll wheel for 3 seconds and it'll mark your position as 0001 (or simalar). Then you can rename it to something more meaning full. |

In 'review turns' if you scroll down to the last waypoint and click on it, it will shows total distance/time. _________________ Samsung Mega

Useful for recording the locations of new cameras (although you have to used easyGPS to get the lat / long back from the i3 |
