Just noticed on the right hand box, entitled Our Advertisers there are no logos shown for me, has happened a fair bit recently. I can see a tiny one pixel square, which if I hover over appears to be an image of an advertiser, ie maplin, moonlight, holux etc.
cheers,
Greg |

Greg,
Are you running a Firewall?
If you are, have the settings changed recently?

Which browser are you running ?
The images on the right hand side are just pure basic animated GIF's so there's nothing special about the code in that window, so you shouldn't really be having any problem unless you have a problem with loading GIF files in your browser.
What happens if you try to view this image ?
Also do you see the images either here or here as they are rendered differently depending on the type of page. |

Hi Dave,
I'm running Avant Browser, if I try the page in straight IE 6 it works fine. I reckon Avant Browser is doing some add blocking or some such.
regards,

Wow, these ad blockers must be getting intelligent and searching for the word advert or advertiser, because the images are just inline like all other images on the site, so there's nothing code wise that would trip them. |

Or they're rather dumb and are just stripping all animated GIFs!

Looking at the Avant Browser, they're looking at the full path of the image and stripping out images if it finds advert in them. We'll change this on the site to avoid this. |

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
Have you considered making a donation towards website running costs?. Or you could disable your ad-blocker for this site. We think you’ll find our adverts are not overbearing!
