I have a Globalsat BR-355 a GPS mouse receiver with a PS2 connector. The PS2 connector is a FEMALE (Socket) and I would like to connect this to my Laptop (USB). I purchased a cable, that was suposed to be compatible, but it also had a FEMALE PS2 socket on the end. Does anyone knoe where I can get a compatible device to connect this mouse to my USB port that works. |

I've just got the same receiver and phoned EasyDevices. What a waste of time. They claimed it was not a UK version of the receiver and would not supply a cable to connect it to an Ipaq. I found EasyDevices very unhelpful and won't be getting any business from me in the future.
GPSforLess was the total opposite. Very helpful and reassuring. Phoned them at 10am, cable arrived next day by recorded delivery. Five star service. |

Hi,
The UK specification for the GlobalSat BR-355 PS2 receiver is with a male connection.
If you have purchased a GlobalSat PS2 receiver with a female connection then it indicates that this receiver was originally bound for a country other than the UK.
Hope that clears it up for you. _________________ www.easydevices.co.uk

So with that in mind, you don't want to sell/stock a cable for the imported versions. Other retailers are willing to and end up gaining a customer. |
