Yee Haaaah!!
Thanks Alan, I've got it now. I suppose it was too difficult to have it happen by clicking on "Download your updates"
I bet it's a really great new version. _________________ Dennis

Backup sync is working here, what isn't working is the nice litte 'virtual' tomtom - my device thingy doesn't appear so can't preplan a route at my desk |

Right then - I've discovered that my Backup Sync only worked when I create d a fresh backup image, thereafter appears to sync fine once again...(have deleted older backups). Maybe some subtle change in format between Home versions(?) to files in path: C:\Documents and Settings\(user)\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Backups\GO\Backup0n\ - or just some peculiarity of my machine! 8O :D

I have posted a query with TomTom and still await an answer from level 2 support, but I have been unable to load the update to HOME an error message tells me that the update file V1_5_032_WIN.EXE requires a newer version of Windows and that I should upgrade my Windows version. A check on the TomTom website seems to suggest that HOME is longer supported by Windows ME as only XP, 2000 and Vista are now shown in the system requirements for running HOME. |

Uh Oh! I don't know if it is since this latest update, but now when I want to login, I get told that the device connected to my computer is not associated with this account. Trying the various options, I can eventually get there, but then my other device is not associated etc, etc.
If the device is not associated, it means I can't download useful stuff like software updates. I LOVE TT HOME Why the hell can't I own two devices (quite apart from the fact that I actually own three!)???? _________________ Dennis

For some reason the last version deleted my splash screen each time I connected my TT to home , this version does not delete it. |

The Mac version still appears to crash 80% of the time you click on anything |
