Hi,
I have just bought a TomTom One and I want to use Traffic.
Firstly, is it worth the investment?
Secondly, I don't have a bluetooth mobile to pickup TomTom Traffic?
Thirdly, Can TomTom One connect to TomTom RDS/TMC Reciever or is it only to Go 510, 710 and 910 models? |

With the TomTom One you can only use the GPRS connection over your mobile phone to obtain Traffic information. This requires a compatible phone, GPRS working Internet connection via your mobile phone (not many pay as you go tarifs support this, even contracted mobiles need this feature enabling to work correctly (a simple phone call to your network provider). You also need to have subscribed to the service via TomTom's web site.
The RDS-TMC only works with the Go-x10 devices so forget about that option - Mike |
