|
|
When I first got my TomTom One (v1) I used to be able to see petrol stations etc. on the navigation screen, now they only show when I browse the map.
Has this functionality been removed with one of the software updates?
The only POIs that show on the navigation screen are the safety cameras when set to warn when near.
BTW I have enabled the POIs to be displayed, but this only affects the browse map screen.
Any ideas? |

That option is for warning, not displaying which is separate. |

The usual place to switch them on in the navigation view is (for v6 software) 'Change Preferences' / 'Enable/disable POIs', but I'm certain that interacts with the list in 'Browse map' / 'Options' / 'POI' - switch them on or off in one place, and it's reflected in the other (in fact I REALLY wish it wouldn't do this!).
The "Warn when near" settings shouldn't make any difference to them being shown on screen.
Reset time? |

My install of TomTom 6 was onto a new sd card and the unit has been hard reset with the button on the bottom.
Still poi's only display on browse map screen only unless also set to warn when near, like I have safely cameras set. |

Useful to know!
Thanks for reporting back, that looks like another possible thing for us all to try with other problems where a reset hasn't worked. |
