Hi all,
I am hoping someone can help me. I have an Icn520 and I downloaded the camera database yesterday. I uploaded the individual camera type files and all seemed to go well.
The problem comes when I am actually out driving. The unit it alerting me to camera's when I am right on top of them, not in advance. I have checked my active POI's on the unit and the settings, say 600ft, why am I only getting a warning when I am actually horizontal to the camera?
Many thanks in advance for your help on this one, ifs got be flumoxed.

Have you tried changing the alert distance and see if it makes a difference?
Have you set the alert distance via the SmartST Desktop and checked it on the iCN520?
If not try both _________________ Gee-Pee

The camera positions are reported by users of the PocketGPSWorld site. They may use sat navs other than ICN520 which may have a slightly different accuracy. Hence, what is spot on for one device may be a few yards down the road on another. _________________ Navman ICN 520

That's another thing you could try. Could be that your screen is out of alignment - go to Screen and set the alignment. _________________ Gee-Pee
