Welcome to the forum, you can put speed cameras on the unit should you want to, please see HERE for instructions, the same applys for other POI files should you require them, although I am not too sure how many you can actually place on the device - there maybe a limit as to the actual quantity of POI categories - Mike |

For a start you need to be a subscribed member to the site please see HERE for details, this gives you access to the members area where you can access the downloads pages in addition to free to enter monthly competitions and dedicated forum areas. Once subscribed you will be able to download/ install and configure the cameras as per the user guide - Mike |

You can get free downloads of the speed camera database from the Route 66 website at www.66.com
Go to the "support" link then "free updates" on the left hand side and follow the instructions.
I found a local speed camera was not on the database but you can add a POI of your own for any cameras not listed.
Just remember to set the alarms for the cameras in the POI alarm section as these are not on by default.
I would be interested to know if anyone has managed to put on a new voice database successfully. |
