Hi all.. Happy New Year..
I have just updated my TomTom Go300 to v6.50 and all the Camera voice warnings have reverted to Beeps and Bongs.
I originally set up the Voice warnings using POI extend, and they have worked fine with the old version (5.4) for a long time..
Has anyone managed to Set up Camera Voice Warnings with v6.5 software on the Go300?
If so I would appreciate some advice on how to go about it.
Thanks in advance for any help..

Mike please have a read through THIS pay attention to the section on ogg file type warnings, this newer method is easier than messing with the data.chk, it will survive any version increase and allows a spoken alert for each custom POI (up to your limit of 100 categories) - Mike |

Mikerg... There are a few sets of "ogg" voices to choose from now, but if you want the same ones as you had before in your old data.chk, PM me with your email address and I'll send you them ready copied and re-named as required.
Darren or anyone on the PGPSW team... any more thoughts on a part of the site for us to compile all these? I'd do it myself but don't have "permanent" webspace and don't relly want to put them all on a frreby thing that might disappear without warning. |

Thanks for the help... :D
Thats great news being able to use OGG files named the same as the OV2 and BMP files. I used the original OGG's that I used originally for compiling the dat files. All I had to do was rename them to match the PocketGPS OV2 and BMP files and copy them into the map folder on the GO300.
It all works perfectly..
Thanks again..
