Is there a way of installing legally bought iGO maps on the Mio without hacking or replacing the Miomap software? |

the only legal way is to insert the SD card with the iGO maps and the licence key for that SD card into the Mio. if the key is valid then the iGO maps will be recognized by the Miomap software. _________________ Lutz

Thanks.
Does this also work for iGO north American maps? (If I understand correctly they require different iGO software to work). |

In theory this should work, because in essence the 2 programms are alike.
But i am afraid that the license.db will throw you off with an error.
The license.db has a device type check built in. _________________ Mio C710 unlocked.

Well, it worked good enough for my Mio 710 - Just put my iGO SD in and the Mio Software recognized all the US maps. YMMV _________________ Lutz
