Two points.I've just bought my Rider off the internet from a company. who I would not recommend for their customer after sales service. I'm having great difficulty turnign it on and off at times. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
My second question is to do with software. I downloaded the speed cameras from this site and also from POI place, and although the unit has logged their positions, it does not display the bitmap images as cameras but as red squares. I've linked the unit up to my pc and gone into the great britain file. The bitmap images are in the file and if I list them as thumbnails on the pc they show the correct pictures. Why won't they display correctly on the TomTom? Help!
I also had to restore my backup to the unit the other day so am know running on version 5.410 and can't seem to find version 6.52 anywhere. How do I re-install the latest software? I've looked on the Tom Tom website and in my computer, but no luck so far. Any ideas how I change this?
Hope someone can help. Many thanks for taking the time to read this.

Connect your unit (or SD card) via TomTom Home & you can update from there. |

Yes, but you can still download firmware v 6.520 from there. |

Yes I've had the problem of turning the unit on (no problem turning it off).
After 2 returns to TT and still no fault found, even though the fault was seen in the shop I got a replacement unit. Now no problem. Some units seem to be worse than others. |
