|
|
Hello All
Got my V9 disc, unlocked OK, selected maps and loaded onto my i3 (with SD Card)
Now when i switch on i3 all it says is
"Please use the provided PC software to load maps, containing turn-by-turn route information" with a little graphic of a PC plugged into an i3. Wont let me do anything else.
Luckily I backed up my SD card first, re-copied everything back and all is OK (except only ver 8 maps)
Am I doing something wrong, I also tried doing it via a card reader and not via the unit itself, with the same results.
Can anyone give a step by step guide to how they loaded their V9 maps onto an i3 please.
Many thanks |

Have you read through the other threads about the v9 mapping?
If you had you would have seen my offer to send the updating instructions I received from Garmin to anyone who PMd their email address to me. _________________ Anita

I have had the same problem, and it appears the unlock code is not unlocking the maps. Andy at Garmin is on the case, as it only happens on 1 of the three models. _________________ Don't eat yellow snow
i3, on the middle of the dash, works just fine!
