Is there any difference between MN6 from 7000T and MN6 from N100? |

I read on another forum that Navigon 6 PDA is STILL using Navteq Q4 2005 maps. If this is the case, I will certainly not be buying it. How can they release a new product and provide maps that are over a year old? It's an outrage. It is quite significant for us in Northern Ireland/Ireland because the first maps to provide full coverage of Ireland (including house numbers) are the Q1 2006 maps. Do they think their customers are all stupid? I'm gonna send Navigon an e-mail to see if this is true. |

Just had it confirmed by Navigon. They ARE using Navteq Q4 2005 maps! I find this quite ridiculous. I for one will not be buying it, even after 8 months of waiting. They should be ashamed of themselves for the very poor release of Navigon 6. Somehow, I think the lane assistance thing is a bit of a gimmick. Regardless, if anyone else decides to buy this product, I would love to hear their views... |

Hi,
Has anyone actually received MN6 (PDA) yet? Navigon are quoting 1-3 days to dispatch! |

No different from Tomtom then
Main reason for me ditching Tomtom 'cos I object to paying them (and GPRS data charges) for a repackaging a "free" TMC service. I did take the free trial - but it only worked for about a week as the TT server was up & down like I don't know what!
Map data in MN6 being 04 - 05 is a dissapointment too - but isn't TTN5 based on those too? |

I odered the PDA MN6 on the 28/12/06 and am still waiting, I have emailed them, but guess what, they have not replied to the email. Your right on the 1-3 days for dispatch on the web site, but does not give any clue how long delivery will take |

I can not believe that its using maps that old
However i have had email from Navigon, and they are offering me as an exsisting cutomer who is using MN4 on the Transonic 3002 the MN6 as an upgrade for 149 euros, (£99) with free shipping. But the website is saying 179 euros (£129).
So i have emailed them stating this and await a reply, if they offer it to me at the 99 quid mark i will be getting it, as it will def be a little better than MN4, plus il have all of europe which is what iv been after on MN4 but can not get hold of for love nor money.
I did order MN6 on the cash on delivery by accident and it did arrive at my door in 1 week.
But il let ya all know what happens and how much i get it for, if u sign up to their newsletter you can have MN6 for 99 quid with free shipping too (so they state) so i await the reply, if they say anything different i will be arguing as they have advertised it and offered it as i said. |

Sod them all Tomtom and Navigon!
I've just returned home with a Navman "all in one" device from Halfords - with free TMC and 2006 maps of Europe. |

Will MN6 do safety camera warnings? And will it use the (free for lifetime) database from this site? _________________ Ian

Has anyone asked Navigon why they are using year old maps? I remember when using Navigon 5, you got a warning if the maps were more than 12 months old. If that is the case, then this message should already be showing on V6. |
