Hi. Is it possible with a TomTom One V2 to key in a shopping centre without knowing the address or postcode. For example in Bournemouth the Castlepoint shopping centre is a semi out of town shopping centre. can this be keyed in in any way. This could also apply to Football stadiums.
Thanks |

I have found shopping centres, however i find it hard to believe but i can't find the large out of town Castlepoint shopping centre on it, all the other centres are there, it has been open over 3 years. I cannot find football stadiums. |

On the shopping centres I also cannot find the huge Hedge End shopping centre outside southampton. I can find listed all the town centre ones, am i not looking in the correct place for 'out of town' shopping centres.
Thanks |

I have "Stadium" as a built-in category. (POIs supplied with vv660.1219 UK and IE map)
it seems to have most of the London clubs, but I'm no football fan, so only glanced through the 100 nearest my house. |

Perhaps they cant add it as a POI as the car park is constantly on the move
(Sorry, local joke - see here if your the slightest bit interested)

Try Glasgow it will return quite a few. A good dozen within 20 miles! _________________ Richard

Was that for at me, oldboy?
Are you sure? I have never found a way of showing more than 100 POIs (16 and a half screensful) under any of the new "POI near home/position/route/city/destination" options. |

Indirectly--yes, but only because I have all B&Q's as a custom POI, but your right, Castlepoint is such a major shopping centre that it should be there, sovereign center was there

How do u do a custom POI. Could I do one for Football stadiums as they are not on my system as far as I can see. Very simple instuctions please. Are you a B&Q fanatic? Don't like the two floor one at Castlepoint. |

Was that for at me, oldboy? | Not specifically. Just pointing out that you see another 100s worth by centering the Search on a different area. _________________ Richard

Left hand side on this site--under "points of interest", then "POI's", Under UK there is a downloadable POI for football clubs, download & save the file, unzip it and move the .ov2(s) & .bmp(s) across to your tomtom, put the .ov2(s) & the .bmp(s) (both have the same name) in the folder containg your map, you may have to enable your new POI under change preferences-enable/disable POI's.
Please make sure that you have a backup of your flash drive before writing anything to it...just in-case.
