Hi all, I have recentley spent a bit of my hard earned cash on a pocket pc (Compaq Ipaq H3760) to use for Geocaching. Then heard that i could run SatNav software on it eg (Tomtom Navigator 5) with (Memory Map POI's) so i bought a Navman 3400 Sleeve to use with my PPC, but unfortunately i can not get this to work with the Tomtom software on my PPC. So i was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to some how connect a (Garmin Yellow ETREX GPSr) via some sort of cable to a PPC and use the Etrex instead of forking out yet more cash on a wired GPSr ?

Hi,
Yes, you should be able to get a serial cable for that, maybe from an eBay shop. Or to be safe, go to pc-mobile (they have an enquiry section on this forum). It looks as if GEQ36 would do the job (but check!):
But bear in mind that a SiRF3 based GPSr (wired or Bluetooth) will give much better reception than a humble Etrex, in "difficult" conditions ("Urban Canyon", athermic windscreen, etc.).
