I have the same problem with Tom Tom Rider on 6.52 software. Tom Tom are not being very helpful and say that it must be a phone problem. I tried another phone with another network, but still have the same problem. Tom Tom say that it cannot happed as it disconnects gprs when the data is downloaded. They are just fobbing me off because they don't have an answer. Does anyone else suffer from this problem? _________________ Garmin Zumo 550 |

I think it may be down to when your phone connects to tom tom and tom tom ask you if you want to accept calls when on GPRS or something, the right option is no although it highlights yes as if that is the right option.
Problem is I've tried to delete the phons and the tom tom from each other and re-connect but I've never got this option back on the tom tom. Now I don't know where to change the setting.
Can anyone help us !! |

You should still have this option, go to Change preferences/Bluetooth preferences/Advanced/Done, then you will get the option. :D _________________ Garmin Zumo 550 |

It doesn't cure the problem for me.
I am in touch with Tom Tom, but they just sya that it always diconnects from gprs automatically and should re-connect to the phone automatically. Huh, so much for their help! _________________ Garmin Zumo 550 |

well mine doesn't re-connect for sure either!!
I'll chase them up and see what they say then. I think they have a tel number but it takes too long to get through so I've only done email so far. There must be a simple fix for this somewhere, someone must know !
if this fixes mine I'll take a look at the settings and let you know what they are. I'm using a sony W810 phone and they are normally good for Bluetooth stuff. |

It's best to contact through the support tab on their site. That way at least you get a response _________________ Garmin Zumo 550 |
