hi zogman
you're right, you can't just rely on the database, but for just £2 it must be a sound investment to know you have the most up to date info available to you.
i used to own a road angel speed camera detector and that was costing me £49 a year to keep updated. since using the gpsworld database i have sold on the road angel. so for me at least, it's a cost effective alternative.

i agree with you tony ,the road angel is a bit expensive and if you are a every day much travelling sat nav user then the annual fee will be a good investment, but for the majority of users a 4/6 month update should suffice.... _________________ *************************** |

Just a reminder for those with the 'Classic' Road Angels that they have free updates for life. Also, one of Microfuzion's versions has free updates. |

Saved me £20 which I shall spend on the PGPSWorld SPeed Camera database. |
why not just get one months subscription (£2) and then in 6 months time get another one months sub...speed cameras don't change that much... |
Zogman....
24£ max per annum, for what the "girls and boys" do at PocketGPS (with the help of us lot of course). SURELY you can afford THAT??
To save even MORE money, DON'T buy the database, but keep within ALL the speed limits! (Does ANYONE do that?) (sic)

Hi
I dont have the data base yet but intend getting it. Can you tell me if the existing card is big enough to accomodate it on the 1v2. According to Tomtom home i have 93.2mb free. Thanks in advance.

Stewart,
Whilst treating yourself to the cams database, why not get a larger SD card anyhow?
It will give you more room for voices etc.

1Gb 9 - 17£
512Mb 7-10£
Good luck

396 kb for the speed-zoned version, not 390,000 kb!

Sorry Robin, you're quite correct.
I keep on putting the decimal place in the wrong position since I won that 1m£ (I wish!)

And if we REALLY wanted to split hairs..
Isn't 1024 "units" the accepted standard (Mb, kb, kB) equation??
