|
|
Since updating my Classic Go to the latest maps and firmware, the need to hold in the on/off button for a few seconds to switch it on has gone, which means almost every time I want to use it the battery has run flat.
Anyone know of a way to reinstate the delay? |

Sounds like a dodgy switch to me.

The battery keeps going flat because the Go accidentaly switches on when put in the boot etc.
I welcome replies from anyone who knows how to alter the On/Off switch delay. |

Only way would be to revert to old firmware - either yours from your backup, or some others are available on "oldboy's" website.
Of course you will lose any new functionality provided by the new software. |

I haven't noticed any change in the switch on time.
It still takes a couple of seconds of holding. _________________ Richard

Reverted back to 6.1 (from 6.52) - normal service has been resumed, phew!
Move along now, nothing to see here. |
