I don't think you can combine the files from various maps, so your best bet would be to create a POI file for each map, this can then be combined using POIEdit it to a single contiguous file, something to do over the Christmas break - Mike |

Thanks Mike. I think I'll just create the favourites again. One more question though. Will the speed camera database work with the new Western Europe map please? |

Yes. The Camera Database will work with any Current Version of TT. _________________ Richard

You can't copy Favourites over. But you can transfer Favourites to POI's. And POI's can be copied from one map folder to another.
I used POI Edit to copy my last set of favourites, since then I only use POI's.
In POI Edit you can open the .cfg file from your 'old' map. There you will find the favourites. _________________ eDsuB

I actually was able to copy all of my favorites from one map to another by copying the one map cfg file located in the ram to the card (using file explorer) then renaming that copy to match the new map. then moving it back to the ram (ex. copied san_diego_ca.000.cfg from ram to card and renaming it California.000.cfg and recopying it back to ram) this worked for me and now I have all of my favorites from my San Diego map to my new CA map. the other way of creating them as POI will work as well. |

Thanks everyone. I have now done it by creating POIs out of all my favourites in each of the old maps in turn. All in a new POI category. I then copied that category into the Western Europe map. Asked ttn to find each one in turn then added it as a favourite. I then deleted the POI categories.
Takes a little time but is easier than re-creating them all from scratch.
