You can manually set the frequency it searches for. If it doesn't find what it's looking for, it carries on looking as before, though. Could you do this on earlier builds? _________________ Tim |

just received a note from TomTom regarding the software update. They say that:
"Further to your enquiry, the version 6.522 update is for an enhancement for the RDS-TMC antenna to improve the functionality, also additional mobile phones and small software improvements for the navigation software.
With best regards,
The TomTom Customer Support Team"
Tim,
Could you tell me where you have found the option to manually set the frequency it searches for??
The main thing I have noticed so far is that the traffic circle in the top right corner now flashes orange until it has a frequency lock. Also when traffic data is updating the circle changes to a green arrow pointing towards a car symbol.
IMHO the update for the TMC is if anything a step backwards for me. I've had no problems with the TMC unit and now it seems to continually scan the entire FM frequency until it decides what it's going to do.
Regards. _________________ TT GO 1005 |

This only works if you have a route set. Tap the right hand side of the screen, where the traffic info bar would appear on the map screen. You should get four buttons, the top right one of which is the manual tune button. _________________ Tim |
