HI.
I am using the Home software. When it finally loads with my device connected its says 'I do not have the component required to use this feature. Click login and login into your account and Home will download the component required'. only trouble is that it doesnt login and just says that component error again.
If i goto 'Check for updates' it just comes up with 'The update for Tomtom Home could not be downloaded'
Any ideas would be great!!
Thanks

If you can't Login using the Icon at the bottom of the HOME Screen, use the File | Login way as this gives you the chance to Login with details.
Normally you would use your email address and password that you used when/if you have created an Account (NOT Plus) at TomTom, and saved your Products under 'My Products'.
The 'Component' is to do with having a Virtual 700 on the PC Screen. If you don't have the Device Registered at TT, it doesn't know which Device Specific Component to download.;) _________________ Richard

Still having problems. Went through activation process, it then told me i could now use the map when i have been using them for 4 months now. Froze on me and everytime i reset it didnt work. Finally got rid of my splash and at least it works sort of now.
Bout pee'd off now
I blame the 'Home' software. |
