hi everybody
i have the garmin i3 and have download the camera database from here and the poi loader however when i got to put the bloody things on it keeps crashing. I get to the stage where it asks you if you want to do it manually or express then after i select either and it goes to transfer it dies
someone please help!!! |

When you say crashing what EXACTLY happens? "Crashing" tells us nothing! Error messages? How long do you leave it for?
If it just freezes then mine does the same - wait a bit and it'll finish. The transfer stage doesn't take too long - you'll see "Transfering Data" on the i3 screen when it does the transfer. However converting the data does take time and that's what the freeze is. |

ok i'll give it another go. i have left it about 2 mins before is that long enough? when i do ctrl alt del to shut it down it says that its not responding as well. It just sits there with an egg timer and nothing on the screen of the i3

1) Shut down any other programs you don't need. Esp those running at the bottom right of the screen.
2) I'm not sure how long it'll take because it depends on your PCs speed. Mine takes a few minutes but then i also convert mine with Ash10s utility which significantly increases the files size. So maybe leave it up to 5 minutes without doing anything. |
