Hi can anyone help. I have tried searching and frankly my head hurts.
Can i install the seperate files for the speed cameras onto my i3, ie gatso 20, gatso 30 etc so that i can set different alert distances for different speeds? (especially thoses sneaky mobiles on motorways that can get you 10 miles away!!)
I notice from looking at the .csv files in the combined download they all end@30, but the seperate files are _30. I know this has t do with the boinging when speeding, so do the seperate files not boing when speeding?
I have also seen in another thread that it may be possiable for the i3 to now have .wav prompts for different cameras. has anyone got this working yet?
sorry for so many questions, but there are so many threads that my searches turned up 300 odd threads to trawl through!! [/u] _________________ Don't eat yellow snow
i3, on the middle of the dash, works just fine!
There are things that I know and you don't know, there are things that you know that i don't know, but always remember there is much that we both don't know. |

Whatever database you use the i3 will bong only if you are speeding. The seperates get their "bong speed" from the filename. Very confussing arrangement fo options.

Just download and install the speed zoned file set csv data to your i3 and you will get the warnings relative to speed and the correct icons. To set different distances use the manual option in POILoader then you can specify distance per camera type and speed, although 10 miles is a bit too much!
The wav files work on the nuvi but not the i3 (at least I haven't got them working) hopefully we will soon learn if the device supports this "add on" - Mike |

Many htnks for the speedy replies, i may get this sorted today. So if i remove the @ in the sperate files they will act the same as the combined ones, but it will allow me to set the alert distances relative to speed. 10 miles was an exaggeration somwhat but they do get you from a long way away on the motorways!! _________________ Don't eat yellow snow

Anyone had any success getting them to work on the C510D? Would be useful to get confirmation of one of those sneaky Specs rigs. |

Look at Ash10s utility to give you the ability to adjust the bong on time and not distance. Also gives you one bong as a warning even if not speeding and then continues if you are... |
