Hi all,
I’m totally new here and hope that someone might be able to help out with a problem I have.
I have a GlobalSat BR-305 PS2, TomTom Navigator 2 and a Ipaq 2210 with Brodit cradle for Ipaq 2210.
I live in Sweden and have a problem with TomTom navigating me to the wrong side of the road. It is like it don’t understand that the Police will bust my *** if I follow TomTom's recommendation of rout
We drive on the right side of the road in Sweden and not the left side. Anyone have any tip?
Navigator Version 2.05
GPS Version 2.05 also tested 2.09 |

Wasn't there a map problem in the early release of the 2.x maps for Sweden? You may want to check with TomTom support directly...
You can try upgrading to TomTom 2.24 but that shouldn't change much for the side of the road _________________ Lutz

I tryed to find info on TomTom but did not find much regarding my problem. I think the problem is in the mapset.
What driver should I use? |

You don't have the BT receiver, so keep the 2.05 GPS driver. You can try 2.06 or 2.07 as well, but should avoid 2.08 and 2.09
Keep trying with TomTom suport. Call them, email them... Their response pattern is not logical... _________________ Lutz

Thanks!
I now found the problem. I installed the Scandinavian maps and that works just fine now. The single Swedish map miss all road/lane direction marks.
Thanks for the tips! |

I think Lutz is right. The earliest CD pressings for the Scandinavian maps have one file (I think it's the whole country Sweden map) set up for driving on the wrong side of the road. All the other maps in the set, including the all Scandinavia one that you've now installed, are right.
I'm rather surprised you've managed to buy such an old CD set new. Contact TomTom - you should be able to get a new CD set from them which has this fixed.
