Hi, I'm now using an Acer n35 with WM 2003 and running new GPS software on the PDA. The problem I have is that I have to go into File Explorer and MMC card to start the program.

Is there a way to link a program to either the desktop or Programes menu?

Find the navigation application file within File Explorer (the one you tap to fire up the app) this time tap and HOLD, from the pop-up select "Copy".
Now using file explorer go to the following location:
My Device/ Windows/ Start Menu/ Programs scroll to the bottom, find some space on the screen tap and hold the stylus and from the pop-up select "Paste Shortcut" (use paste shortcut to conserve memory).
Now to start your nav application simply go to Start/ Programs and you will find it listed - Mike
