winton road is not on mapsource (city nav europe v8) but an un-named road is...this could be an advantage in the sense that if you put your exact home position in and your sat nav gets stolen, the thief will have your home address if he presses 'home' ...do as i do and put your home location as the main road near your home address..you dont really need to get right back to your door on a return journey and this way the thief will only know your area.. _________________ *************************** |

Unfortunately they are slow to update the maps.
The best work around is to find the nearest street that is on the map and set that as your home location.... _________________ Gone fishing! |

The house i live in was built about 25 years ago and is not in the database either (on my i3 or on a Honda system i used as well). I just set my home address using the save location function. |

Thats what I had to do, i couldn't believe the i3 could not find my road as it's been here over 120 years. Yet it shows on the map view OK but will not come up in the database. |
