I wonder if this would work through a Sat Nav for traffic etc.

.
If you go into the Video Centre on the left hand side of QVC home page and look into the 1000 show and item 556220 you will see demo. _________________ Garmin 2569 |

These devices can only be used to modulate the audio output from your device on to the FM frequency, your car radio is then tuned to the same frequency so your sat nav sound plays through the car speakers. Works great with units that have an mp3 player built in as well as the nav such as the Garmin 310 or TomTom 910.
As of yesterday it became legal to opperate these devices within the UK, however they MUST be CE marked to comply with the law.
They cannot be used for RDS TMC reception, that is a different function all together. - Mike |

Sadly all these FM Modulators offer much and deliver little IMHO. Our airspace is so congested with radio traffic that it's nigh on impossible to find a clear channel that can be used and when you do it soon becomes occupied as you drive along requiring another hunt for space. _________________ Darren Griffin |

That's my experience too (in London at least). It's not so bad in less populated areas but still a pain... _________________ Gone fishing! |
