Not a Lot!
Cant comment on postcodes bacause i do not use them
If you install latest maps on ttn5, I havent seen any improvement, TTN6 latest maps still have shortcomings.
If your on OS win mobile 2003 and use landscape mode then you will lose it unless you can upgrade to win mobile 2003se.
their seems to be conflicting reports on whether add on software works on ttn6, if your happy with ttn5 and maps, then stick with it. |

I'm not happy with tomtom5 but I have to use it because I cannot get a code for TT3 on my new XDA Orbit.
Cheers

I have upgraded from TT5 to TT6, Obviously updating the maps must be a plus because I guess they have added some roads, the added features don't do anything for me, the main plus I have found after installing TT6 is the speed it loads up, I get to the map display a lot quicker than TT5.

Just to add that the path finding code has been improved on TT6.
There is a nasty bug on TT5 where it would sometimes make you take an exit to leave a motorway, do the roundabout and take you back on the motorway.
This is fixed on the TT6. |

I find the navigate to "crossing or intersection" really useful. |

TomTom6 starts up and gets the signal from the GPS (not the time for the GPS to get a signal) a lot quicker than TT5. |

Upgraded from TomTom5 to TomTom6 on my Dell Axim X51v.
I find the TomTom6 starts up much faster than TomTom5.
The directions given have been improved (e.g. on TomTom5 it would say 'Turn right then turn left' even though there was another left turn prior to the correct one, TomTom 6 says 'Turn right and then take the 2nd left', it also says 'Take the next exit' on large roundabouts whereas TomTom5 didn't.
The updated maps are also better, two mini roundabouts on my road have now appeared on the maps! |

In my experience it still does this.
Also, as a new user of TOMTOM I am amazed at the number of map errors. For example, suggesting right turns that have been closed for several years, suggesting a route that has been blocked for over ten years and suggesting routes through unmade roads. |

Just a simple improvement I like is the much clearer labels for example when you leave a motorway, it clearly show the Junction number and turning in a nice box _________________ Samsung S22 Android, Google Maps & Camera Alert |
