Having just downloaded the latest software upgrade for my GO300 I have been exploring the new features and come across this one "Link night views with headlights" - can anyone explain what this feature is supposed to do and does it actually work? |

You have the ability on some Devices to link the Day/Night Colour Screens to the Headlights of the Vehicle. This switches the Screen to Night Colours when the Headlight go on.;)
This is to save you the effort of 3 Taps on the Screen.
I personally don't know anyone who uses it. _________________ Richard

The feature you are talking about does work with the Go 300, but I think that is because I use my Go 300 with a permanent docking kit.

Uh, maybe I'm missing something but why don't they just use the sunrise/sunset times like other systems do? _________________ Gone fishing! |

Well the x10 series have a light sensor to do the job anyway....
Or for other units, 'roussillat' has developed the "Suntime" add-on which uses GPS position and time of day.

Just got the suntime thing on my 700, seems very good and not the hard to do, even with Widows instructions on a Mac.
