At last I got my unit back today at it works. :D
However it just turned up without warning despite TomTom saying they would let me know when it had been despatched.
I emailed them to thank them and point that out, and they said they didn't know it had been sent.
The whole company needs a massive shake up on the service side - it's an absolute shambles. Even the staff don't know what's going on - what chance have the customers |

I've now reported TomTom to Trading Standards. What happened to my unit was dangerous and they have been exceptionally poor in dealing with it. I am now without my unit for the second time and have not been able to use it since August |

After six weeks of nagging TomTom returned my original 700 (which they said they couldn`t repair) and sent a replacement unit with it.
Only after I sent a "nice" letter if you know what I mean!
What I could gather is the problem does not lie with TomTom but an outside company that does the repairs. |

Irrespective of who does repairs we are customers of TT and if the service we get is poor then its TT that has to remedy the situation.
You can pass on the authority - you can't pass on the responsibility!!! |
