|
|
Hi
The TT website implies that the latest maps have coverage of Ireland:
Quote: | Detailed map of Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland connected to the Western European major road network. Includes Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Does not cover the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or any other overseas territories. Street network coverage: greater than 99% |
OTOH I've not seen any publicity about this, which I would have expected given the number of people crying out for it.
Can anyone confirm yea or nay ?

Confirmed. The "United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland" map does indeed cover the whole of Ireland. :D |

I bought TT6 before the Irish maps came out. Does anyone know if we will get a free upgrade to these new maps?
I can't find anything about it on the website and was having problems with TT home last night when it was attempting to connect to the TT website |

I downloaded the latest map 3 days ago and can confirm it does have all of Ireland on. Also, TT have just issued a press release on this (see their website).
Dunno how good it all is yet tho' _________________ Brian Abbott

Thanks for helping me out here aj2052.
My tom tom also has the same streets in it as you have just mentioned.
I would say it has about 45 - 50% of Dublins streets on the map software I have.
I'm asking these questions becuase I going back to Ireland tomorrow and working my way out of Dublin.
Thanks again guys. |

If you pm me with your email address, I can send you a screen shot, If I remember some of irelands main towns were covered, but 660 certainly has more including down to Cobh which is the only place i have visited in ireland. |
