Hello, after upgrading my tom tom one to version 6.520 I lost my voice camera warnings. I downloaded the data chk file again and although the camera voice warnings have returned I get the spoken message 'brought to you by pocket gps world .com' before every camera warning. Any ideas how I can switch this off? thanks. |

Steve, have a look at the home page for a newer method for achieving spoken alerts using ogg files, this method allows a spoken alert for each poi loaded, there is no limit as you have using the data.chk file - Mike
For the link try HERE as it will disapear from the home page eventually.

That's the datachk file entry which the TomTom speed cameras use. Turn those off and the problem will go away. |

Steve, which speed camera database are you using ? it could be:
Single file
Consolodated by type
Speed Zoned
I suspect you have more than a single camera database installed on your device, check how many ov2 files you have loaded on the card that state pocketgps_uk at the start - Mike |

I had this exact same problem with my 910. It's because you are running both theiin-built tt speed cameras and pocketgps. Simply disable the tt ones frrom the menu system. |
