Hi,
I was hoping someone could help me with a couple of problems I am having with Sat Nav.
I keep getting Asset Failure coming up and would like a possible solution to correct this.
Addtionally when I attempt to go into addy or POI the smaill egg time thing comes up on screen and stays there normally followed by Asset Failure.
And finally if I go to map the same a sound come on and doesnt stop(it sounds like the warning for Speed cameras.
Someone out there please help
Thanks |

It would be helpful to know what you device is If it is the Navman iCN 5xx, then try a hard reset (Switch off the battery at the back of the device, wait a couple of minutes and then switch on again).
This has been known to solve the problem - it did for me. If that does not help, post all the details - that is your GPS Device, the software you are using and the exact details of the Assert failure message. _________________ Gee-Pee

Have a look at previous posts on this problem "Search" is you friend. Replacing and/or Reformating SD cards and reloading software often fixes these issues. |

Test Country result!=null.
My sat nav is a navman 520i using smartST 2005 software
