Well done, Dave and all at the site.
I've just downloaded and setup POI Edit and I must say what a clear and concise walkthrough. I am new to PDAs as well as GPS (I've got a HP2210 and a GlobalSat 307 CF) and am finding this site to be one of the most comprehensive and helpful.
Keep it up!

Hi there - great sight by the way - really excited about the whole POIs for TomTom. Only problem is is that the link isnt working - does someone have a mirror or a different link?
Thanks in advance |

Nope, nothing we did as we don't operate the dnote.nl website, and the website has been operational all last week and over the weekend, so it's probably a localised problem with your ISP not routing traffic to the website correctly. |

Does POI Sync have only data for UK or for US as well? I haven't seen any good POI databases for TomTom for US? Any links out there? |

It covers the entire Europe and USA, but most of the POI's do tend to be in the UK. |

Who contributes most POIs? Is it just end users or it's actually purposefully collected? It would be really nice to get a large US POI database, but not sure how to do that? Does POI-Sync need more advertisement in the US? |

We added a huge selection to start the ball rolling but most of the additions lately are from end users. |

So how can it be increased for US? Looks many people don't know about it here. |

If you find any POI's or locations that have lat/long addresses we can add them to the sync service. |
