Nuvi 310 /safety camera package

I have recently bought a Nuvi 310d and got a free 90 day trial of Cyclops safety camera software. I haven't had chance to try it out yet, but can someone tell me if it has to have the TMC connected or does it operate without it?

Frank,

I would think that the camera detection would be via the satalite system rather than the TMC system.

Give it a try with and without to be sure.

The safety camera subscription is completely separate from the traffic module, and does not need it connected.
