i think its a good idea but with one problem if its set to fewer then the option to clear route is gone, considering that is part of planning a route.
is there a way to clear route with fewer options
i cant be the only one who thinks its a bit stupid |

You're not alone!
But "Clear Route" is not part of planning a route. The GO only stores one destination at a time. Choosing to Navigate to a new place will overwrite the previous route. You don't need to clear it first. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

yea you are right you dont plan a route by clearing it, but if im going some where where i know the last bit of the route it makes it simple to clear route, instead of turning off
i will just have to have the full menu just thought i would share my opinum |

If you select navigate to and choose a destination a reasonable distance away, then during the calculation you will have time to hit cancel. This then clears the route.

yea that is another good way but you are still going through the cycle of planning, when it would be much quicker to tap the clear route |

How about using a tomtom.mnu File. This can contain as many of the Main Menu Items that you desire.
You could use the one used for POICapture, but without using POIC if you want, and then select Show Fewer Menu Options.;) _________________ Richard
