hi
does anyone know the difference between the go classic mount and the 3/5/700 mount
can i modify the 3/5/700 mount so my classic will fit on it? or can i just use the mount without connecting the charger?

No to both questions, but you can remover the connector from the mount, then you can use it with a Classic or any of the 3/5/700 series

hi
when you say remove the connector, do you mean the bit in the middle that sticks up with the elecronic connections in it? this is the main diffrence as far as i can see (near the front on classic but middle to rear on the 3/5/700)
all i want to do is mount the tomtom and plug the charger into tomtom not the mount (desperate for a mount before holls and on back order with tomtom)
obviously i understand that if i take the mount apart it will void any warrenty
