I was out for a 'blast' on my bike today. Before setting off, I re set all the trip data on my Q1 ........including maximum speed.
On my return home the max speed is now showing............700MPH!!!!
I was never over 125 MPH.
Robert, any ideas as to why this has happened???? |

 Yeah, yeah, yeah. We believe you. 
Sometimes the GPS can think it has an accurate fix when it is actually several hundred meters adrift of reality. It then suddenly snaps to the correct position and you get an outlandish speed.

Hey!!! it's an XJR I ride mate..........120 feels like 220 8O
Qickest I've had the ol' girl was comin' through Belgium and she was showin 143 on the Quest (bike was fully loaded too), thought I was doin' well until we pulled in for fuel and my ZRX ridin' buddy flashed his Quest at me............145.....b*****d  |

It's an uncalibrated speed measuring device..
Highest reading I got was on a 57 mile stretch in Wales..
Q1
Max: 956 MPH
Average: 866 MPH
Overall: 381 MPH
I've got the fastest Ducati in the world...
[And before anyone says anything :-) it's reliable too] hee hee |

If you think that's fast, how about 4,466mph in a Vauxhall combo. Normally aspirated as well!!!!
I'll try and get a piccie posted when the wife returns from Birmingham.
I just want to get a tug from the plod and see if they notice....
