Hi everyone,any opinions please i bought my TT300 about 14 months ago i think the software version is 5.21 is it worth updating that and also is it worth buying the latest uk map as there are a lot of mistakes on my map with street names. |

i would update the software as that cant do any harm but i just recently bought a "NEW MAP UPDATE" and to be quite honest doesnt look anymore modern so i would defo hold fire on the map update as there is one due for release in the "NEAR FUTURE"
i got told that and went and updated and what a waste of 41 quid!

Before you do any form of upgrade please make sure you take a full copy of the card on the PC, this way if it all goes wrong at least you can recover the unit to a working condition - Mike |

If you do an update do you need to have your TomTom connected to your PC or will it do the job just putting the SD card into a card reader and updating through there? |

Hi thanks for your replies downloaded the latest software but will leave the map for a while.They should have a way that you can rename the streets when they are wrong in there software but i suppose that would be to easy . |
