|
|
I there !
I have installed tomtom home software when it was issued, for usage with my tomtom GO.
I found that soft useless, since when I needed to reload the soft of my POI's, I found easiest to uninstall everything from the TOMTOM and reinstall from scratch.
I've heard now that "Home" was allowing to schedule the roads from the PC directly, what I found usefull ... Is it true ?
Can we see the maps on the PC, for example ?
Many thanks ! |

Mine to - If I use my TomTom with the Home software When I then want to use the TomTom next, it gets to the splash screen and then hangs. A hard reset cures this.
Have tried various combinations of disconnecting from PC or turning off tomtom etc. but still get same result _________________ ________________________________________

I also had the same problem and contacted TT support - they sent me a 'removeregentries exec file' which I used and now - no problem |

I agree, it's a reasonably pretty GUI that doesn't do much except give buggy updates that increase upsell. But keep in mind, we're all pretty advanced here. Most users go about their daily business typing letters and numbers into the thing and probably never connect it, save for their crap traffic which basicall just makes HOME a portal to sell premium services. |
