Oh dear!
Less than a week ago Oldboy advised you to update in the next round of map updates whenever that might be (in other words at some time in the future). The next round is very imminent, so goodness knows what you've bought (apart from it being a map which isn't as up to date as when the new ones come out).
Remember this?

I suggest you try to take up with Tom Tom that they've sold you a "new" map just before a "new" map comes out. Best of luck!! |

yes granted but you would kind of think that a version 6 map would be alot newer than a version 3.14
indeed it was a bit silly but its unknown when they will be releasing the new one and with the release date getting pushed further and further back is it ever going to be released
besides surely they should have to have what release the maps are before you buy and update them? |

Funny you should think so - we ALL think the same. Sadly, Tom Tom seem unable (for which read unwilling) to read our minds. There is even a rumour they will give map versions on their website "soon".
I still recommend you to try having a go at them over letting you buy a map which is very shortly (knock on wood!) due to be updated. |
