|
|
Hi,
I have two problems:
1. I have looked up an down the forum and can't find any reports on version 3.2
I am currently running V2.7, as I had the white screen and slow display problems with later versions (v3.0).
Has this been sorted? and is it worth updating to v3.2?
2. My second problem is I've let my girlfriend use my i3 and she's fallen in love with it
What do I do?
a) Tell her that I relly need it back as I might need it for work?
b) Say that if she finds it useful and thinks she'll need it then maybe it's best that she keeps it. I could use this as an excuse to upgrade to a better Garmin 8) Christmas isn't that far away.......
What to do?

Cliff,
I have a brand new i3 boxed which I bought from Currys when they were
discontinuing to stock it. I've not used it, only checked it fires up when the right buttons are pushed. Firmware v2.5 NT v8 maps. Bought it on a whim but as my original i3 is working a treat I've never needed to use it.
Cost me £99.97 (have receipt). I'm happy to sell it so I'm not out of pocket.
Regards

Guys,
Thanks for the Advice.
Dilcymro, I like your thinking. A Nuvi sounds good 8)
smokescreen, thanks for the offer. I love the i3, but would probably look to upgrade to a Nuvi of some sort, with bigger screen and more features. It'd be a bit like leaving the girlfriend for her twin sister, when there's another women with thinner legs and bigger 'ahems' on offer. If you see what I mean.
Nitelife, thanks for the link.
cheers guys. _________________ Nuvi 660, VW GOLF

Think you will need a seperate "proximity alert" for them though
