Can someone list the problems that have been noted with 2.08 and 2.09 etc?
My whole system hp2210, fortuna BT reciever has been a bit shaky since i updated to 2.09 I cant seem to get more than 4 satellites and that was on a crisp and even night too. Not that this can have anything to do with the upgrade!!
Cheers
Jon
p.s a link to the problems will be fine if there is one. |

Basically, beginning with v2.08, TomTom decided to configure their GPS Driver to maintain exclusive use of the BT Com Port. This prevents other GPS applications from utilising a BT GPS receiver.
v2.09 also added a pointless wizard interface and Today Plug-In TTNav Launcher on top of the BT Com Port lock.
If you exclusively use TTNav and no other 3rd party GPS apps then this should not be an issue but if you wish to try an alternative I suggest v2.07 which had none of these issues, It can be downloaded here. _________________ Darren Griffin
