Currently using TT5.21 but considering the upgrade to TT6.
I understand from a friend of mine (who is more market-aware than I am) that there are two European maps available for TT6 - v650 (TeleAtlas?) and v652 (NavTech?). Can anyone confirm this? Which is likely to be the best map to use? |

I'm not sure tht the NAVTEQ map is available for the PDA or Mobile versions. It is the standard map on the RIDER and ONE v3 European version, both of which are PNDs. I'm not sure if the NT map can be used on the GOs, either.

Yes, you're right.
The map is only supplied with TT GO, but is compatible with TT Navigator. |

I think that friend of yours is not so market-aware. Navteq maps are not compatible with TT Navigator 6 (PocketPC), only with Rider and One NE.
Also, both map versions v6.50 and v6.52 exist as TeleAtlas maps.
The Navteq map on the One NE is also v6.52. So the version number is not conclusive for the provider.
If you want to be sure about the provider, check the About box, and check for details. You will see wich provider is mentioned in the copyrights.

TTN6 is shipped with (TeleAtlas) maps v6.52

Are you really sure that the Rider and One Maps are not compatible with Navigator? 
Mine is working, perhaps I'm running either Rider or One in my HP PocketPC!  |
