Adjusting speed of "bongs" kicking in.

Morning all, I have just been looking through the search facility and cant find anything that covers above question.
Basically, when aproaching a speed camera you will get the initial bong and the red warning marker indicating the speed etc, so lets say its 30mph, now if you go over that to 31mph it will just keep on bonging till you come back down to 30 again. Is there any way of adjusting this to say 35/36mph so if you hover around that speed it wont warn you unless you go over that again.

Its jus a bit of a pain when it s bonging away at you and you`re only doing 33/34mph.
Dont know if any of the other programs would solve this or not. But I thought they only cover the timing of the second warning.

dil, havnt used it myself but doesnt ash's camera manager allow you to do this..

Hi zogs, not sure if ash10`s program covers this or not , I thought that just gave you the facility to change the time scale to the next warning ie: overspeed. I will read it again though to see.

dil, i think another way might be to change the speed settings in the csv file to what you want..

Cheer`s zogs, not too sure how to go about that though. Also for some reason I cant get to as10`s sticky, just seems to hang there, everything else loads up ok?

But it's telling you your speeding and are going to get a fine/points if you don't slow down. :o

See what you're saying, but one could argue that in a 30 mph limit with a speed cam, you should be travelling at 30 mph and not at just under 37mph just so I don't get caught :P

It`s not a matter of travelling just under the 37mph or whatever the speed is,
it`s not always possible to travel just on 30mph... which is why I suggested 35mph for instance.

Some gps systems will warn you when you are near a speed cam but you will not get an overspeed warning at all, its down to you to keep your speed down.

Open the CSV files in Excel and do a Search and Replace (CTRL+F, hit the Replace tab) and replace @30 with @37, click Replace All.

Thanks Paul / zogs, god that was hard work. Dont actually want to enter 37 there thought I would put in 35mph, then if I do creep over the limit too much then I will get bonged again.

Paul, seeing as you are in such a good mood, remind me how to go about changing the files again as in A, B, C, D, etc thanks , I`d buy you a drink if I knew where you where. Laughing

Paul, I have managed to do it , have now changed all the 30s to 35`s, we will see if that makes any difference ( made up a new folder for all these )

Now, will I get the initial bong at 35mph or will that still be on 30?
